After five years of outstanding service and contributions to The Club at Las Campanas, Head Golf Professional Kyle Capps, PGA will be leaving in November to become the Head Golf Professional at Milburn Country Club in Overland Park, Kansas. During Kyle’s tenure, the Club experienced substantial growth, increased membership participation and was host to the 2017 USGA Women’s State Team Championship, along with numerous USGA Local and Regional Qualifiers. The Golf Shop also was recognized with the PGA Private Club Merchandiser of the Year Award and has won a multitude of awards due to Kyle’s vision and hard work.
This morning Kyle shared, “It has been such a blessing to become part of the Las Campanas family over the past five years. I can’t thank the membership enough for allowing me the privilege to work at such a fantastic place and experience growth both personally and professionally. With a young daughter and extended family back in Kansas City, the timing is right for us to make this move. Las Campanas and Santa Fe are truly a one of a kind and both will always hold a special place in our hearts. As beautiful as Las Campanas is and as much as I enjoy the skiing, hiking and green chile, the relationships I have established with each of you over the past five years was what truly made this decision so difficult. I will be forever grateful.”
Kyle and his family plan to move to Kansas City in mid-November and he will wrap up his duties on November 9th. Please stop by to wish Kyle well and we will announce shortly a date to gather and toast Kyle for all of his accomplishments and to wish him well in his new exciting role.
