The last few months have been challenging for everyone but members have played tennis and pickleball since mid-May. Court reservations have been a challenge for some players. Listed below will be a recap of the reservations system and recent changes that have taken place to adjust the courts dashboard. Recent changes have been mainly due to court availability and Covid-19 protocols. As always, we hope the tennis and pickleball community are enjoying time on the courts with friends, opponents, and instructors.
Please Note: Face coverings must be worn when you arrive to the Club and while walking to or from the tennis courts and the Fitness Center. Upon arrival, please proceed directly to your court at the reservation time, and do not socialize in between. At the completion of play, please leave the courts immediately. Some members have asked for additional chairs and tables to be placed court side. These items will not be placed court side for the remainder of the tennis season based on the safety protocols outlined above.
Reservation Guidelines
- Seven tennis courts and four pickleball courts are available for daily reservations except during drills and lessons.
*Court times may be reserved 7 days in advance starting at 7:00 a.m.
- Members are permitted to initially make one court reservation per day.
- Members are now permitted to make reservations for an additional court within 72 hours prior to the desired day and time.
- When booking more than one player, a To Be Determined(TBD) is not accepted. Players making the reservation must input all names of other players within the reservation.
- Any players wanting to book group play, 8 or more players on a recurring basis, should submit request for group play to the head tennis professional, Claudia Monteiro, by emailing: tennispro@clublc.com
- Cancellations for court times should be completed online or by calling 505.995.3600
- Ball machine reservations should be made online and by emailing confirmation to gguittard@clublc.com. This will alert Gilbert to perform neccessary procedures as previously communicated.
- Members may reserve access to the ball machine from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. each day of the week excluding Tuesdays and Saturdays, no change from the previous communication.
