(Santa Fe, NM – April 19, 2011) Nine out of eighteen or one half of the Santa Fe Association of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service areas saw an increase in housing sales during the 1st Quarter 2011. Eleven of eighteen areas noted an uptick in median price and a decrease in new listings.The Local Market Updates are part of a new housing analysis provided through the Association’s new data partner, 10k Research. The Local Market Updates show housing data that includes single family homes (detached), condominiums and townhomes (attached), and mobile home sales in each market area for the 1st Quarter of 2011. The Local Market Updates include the following areas: City Northeast, City Northwest; City Southeast-North; City Southeast-South/County Southeast; City Southwest-North & South; Airport Road/Agua Fria; Tesuque/Northeast; Las Campanas; Northwest of City Limits; Canada de Los Alamos & Old Las Vegas Hwy; Hwy 285; Eldorado; La Cienega, Hwy 14 & Madrid/Cerrillos; South of I-25; Glorieta/Pecos; Los Alamos; Pojoaque; and Espanola. Local Market Updates will be provided each quarter.
